“I believe in a supreme energy force in which other deities that think they are the supreme source connect from”.
“The Christian god may exist; so may the gods of Olympus, or of ancient Egypt, or of Babylon, that is why i cannot consider any one of them, religion is another form of mind control, i dont like a belief system based upon fear of the unknown, taught by people who knows less than little of the unknown”
Dejavu Enigma, Afro-Pop, Hi-Hop anchor Artiste based in Calabar, a student of Calabar, studying Theatre and Media, who is also a Director, Cinematographer, graphix designer, online and ofline promoter, web developer, and an editor, expresses his view concerning religion.
“folks, I’m not opposed to religion or Christianity. I believe in a supreme energy force in which other deities that think they are the supreme source connect from”.
“Religion has been a tool for political war since BC, and it has been used as a tool since then, bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity”.
He further explains the concept of religion in his own opinion
“I see religion in this century as a political party, In Africa today, Nigeria for example, you’re either a christian or a muslim, and the muslim take it as their birth right, and after The Abuja declarion (1989) , they have sworn to make Africa a Muslim territory which is aligned with political interest, and not Religious interest, i could continue explaining all the terms you already know but tha will be irrelevant, the fact still remains: if you were born in a muslim home you would have been a muslim today and vice versa, and a christian will not agree that the islam religion is the true religious and vice versa, so does other religion like Budism, hinduism, shinko and other various sepreme deities, there is no proof of god, and there is no proof of no god, The Christian god may exist; so may the gods of Olympus, or of ancient Egypt, or of Babylon, that is why i cannot cofnsider any one of them, religion is another form of mind control, i dont like a belief system based upon fear of the unknown, taught by people who knows less than little of the unknown. What I am suggesting is we create and support a system where political decisions are made based on arguments that stand on their own merits without a religious crutch. i’m not anti religion it just shouldnt have a place in political decisions”
“I believe when i die the only place will exist is the mind of people, i dont know of any heaven or hell , if you do then that is your problem and not mine, and it is only just my opinion, i don’t know about you, Because not everyone shares your faith, and it’s a politician’s responsibility to represent their constituents. Arguments made solely based on a particular faith don’t mean much to people who don’t share that faith. They do, however, serve as a great catalyst to polarize arguments and create two groups that have no common language, are unable to actually discuss a problem, and just generally hate each other (e.g., pro-choice people vs. anti-choice people in the abortion debate).
“Removing the religious crutch in political debates will not only create a common denominator, but will will cause people on all sides to think about the issues critically + It will turn down the heat. i may not be making sense to you and that is why its my opinion anyway”.
